What i leArned from twitter and hashtags
From Dyane Smokorowski and her class, I learned how to use Skype as a resource. Imagine having Astronomers from a Major University answer questions when you teach a unit on Space, or share ideas and stories with another class in the US or across the world. It's something I hadn't thought about but will definitely be using.

I am interested in reducing the emphasis on grades and increasing the emphasis on learning. From Joy Kirr, I read a bit about how her feedback works. I think a video like the one to the left is great for the beginning of the year or as a refresher at Parent-Teacher conferences.

From Bill Ferriter, the site on the right contains videos specifically selected for kids with a myriad of subjects from the Sciences and Arts.
